Used to eat here twice a week... Brought many out of towner's here and had b-day parties, and business meetings here too.
After two years of this, I had one drink (which I had every time we ate there) and returned it as it tasted peculiar to me. I had two more of another drink after the returned one... As did the rest of my party of four... The owner REFUSED to remove the one drink from our bill!
LOL, This guy really doesn't get it...
We still eat sushi twice a week only now we eat at Rise on 18th or Masumane on Federal... These owners are a joy and both give us free drinks and food because we are regulars...
Diamatsu waitresses are friendly and give good service... But are afraid of owner... So, if you have any problems,don't expect any satisfaction...
I am told by the waitresses that have migrated to the other restaurants that if they inadvertently heard your order incorrectly and you returned it to get what you actually wanted/ordered; he makes the girls pay for the food!
Sushi is fresh and good, but owner is a nitwit for treating his staff the way he does and customers, too. What businessman ends a relationship over what... His cost of $3 out of Thousands of dollars in revenues?!
