This great little place has a splendid location, great ambience, and the best Lamb Kebabs south Florida has to offer.
A few of us got together for a fun evening there. We sampled beers from Czech Republic, Russia, Japan, Poland, and a few other places. We enjoyed the most delicious baklava and tiramisu with some excellent black coffee. The owners are very warm and friendly people and they stayed open well after hours to finish our robust and engaging conversation.
I can't say enough about Apropo Kafe. Can't wait to go back.
I loved this place! When we came in I was happy to meet the owners. The food was great and we've been more than several times now and I owe my extra five pounds to them! But it was well worth it!
Visited in January 2009: An excellent value, the friendly owners handle service and kitchen tasks. We found the duo out-going, attentive, and very accomodating when it comes to special requests. The food is fresh and the menu is varied - running along an informal Mediteranean theme.
Assorted coffees, teas, wines and a wide assortment of beers, including many micro brews, with Bitburger and Tucher on tap. One member of our group is vegan and still found a satisfying assortment of choices, despite additional restrictions due to food allergies.
I have now been several times, always for lunch, with a variety of friends. Each time, everyone was very pleased.
This place has good food with a nice atmosphere. The owners are very friendly and like to talk. They have mostly European food but also some more standard items and lots of imported beers. Get the kebab with hummus!
